Vanessa & Jon's Lighthouse Restaurant Wedding
Oh.Em.Gee these two. I was back in Schererville, Indiana for the second weekend in a row, now to celebrate this gorgeous duo. It began as a gloomy Saturday, with rain clouds forming overhead. Just as the ceremony was beginning, it started REALLY pouring. It can be such a bubble burster, but for these two, they didn’t let it stop them one bit. Vanessa continued smiling her beautiful, huge smile and so we all knew everything would be a-ok. I also kept telling myself (and the weather gods) that this simply would not last. And as luck would have it, as soon as we pulled into their gorgeous venue, the Lighthouse Restaurant, the most beautiful light and colors appeared in the sky. The pier behind the restaurant on the lake is one of the most breathtaking scenes I have laid my eyes on. I finally was able to get to work and create some magic, because I couldn’t contain myself any longer! Vanessa had the most stunning lace veil that I have always dreamt about. The inside of the reception space was just amazing, too. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
