Being new to Austin, one misconception I had about all of Texas was that I thought it was FLAT. Little did I know, this beautiful area called Hill Country was as picturesque as you can get! It is the perfect combination of sweeping vistas like on the California coast, mixed with the southern flair of Texas country, ya’ll. So when Thielen & Jeff inquired with me for their intimate wedding at Escondido Chateau, a private estate boasting 16,000 sq feet overlooking the breathtaking Lake Travis, they had me right away. The waterfront view was like no other, but what made this even more special, was that all their closest family and friends were able to stay in the house to celebrate with the couple all weekend long. How rare and amazing is that?!
