Jamie & James Racquet Club Chicago Wedding

I am at a loss for words in describing what was one of the most amazing weddings of my life. Jamie & James are the kind of people that ooze compassion, fun, sincerity, happiness, and love. I physically met them face to face just a week and a half before their wedding since they lived in California just a few months up until the big day. We hit it off right away, like old friends. I was so pumped for their wedding day, I was on pins and needles thinking about it. And it DID NOT disappoint! In fact, everything was better than I could have ever imagined. Jamie was a vision. Classy, stunning, elegant, everything you would think of in dreaming up your picture perfect bride. And as sweet as can be. James awaited his bride outside for their first look, as relaxed as he could be, with a giant smile on his face, and as dapper as a GQ model (does anyone say dapper anymore?!). Their first look had me in tears and giant ear-to-ear smiles. My assistant Chelsea and I whispered to each other “you can totally tell they are so in LOVE!”. We took a trolley around the city with their fabulous wedding party for some amazing photos. Their beautiful ceremony took place at Holy Name Cathedral, one of the most stunning churches in Chicago. Afterwards, we took the two for some romantic photos in front of the river and the Wrigley building. These are just off the wall crazy amazing! But it was ultimately the reception that dropped my jaw- it was a magical vision brought to life. Candles hung from the ceiling and sparkled on all of the tables, designed from Art of Imagination with the most breathtaking florals from Vale of Enna. The line-up of vendors included the best of the best in all of Chicagoland. Sweetchic Events pulled it off, without a hitch. This was simply a day I will remember forever.
