How much do I love these two?! For starters, Emily had the brilliant idea of starting their session in their killer apartment in the city. Since the two are super chill, laid back, and not fond of cheesy photos, a lifestyle approach to their engagement photos was just the answer. We had a musical jam session with Emily on piano and Andy on guitar, which then turned into a guitar lesson for Emily (we laughed over “Friends” inspired guitar learning like “the claw” and “the old lady”). They cuddled and drank coffee and just got to be themselves. It really is the perfect answer for anyone not into the typical engagement photo scenario of “stand here” and “pose like this”. Afterwards, we headed to Millennium Park for ice skating and hot chocolate! We even got so lucky as to share a few private moments at the Bean (which is pretty unheard of). Talk about ADORABLE!

There is not one single image that I would not frame - she captured all the important moments, the big ones, the small ones, the ones I would not have even thought of but now am so glad they were captured! Most importantly, she captured our emotion and happiness.
