GUYS. This wedding was one for the BOOKS! First, Katy & Steve are seriously the best couple. SO laid back, fun, silly, and super smitten with each other. Watching Steve look at Katy will bring a smile to anyone’s face. Watching Katy giggle while crying walking down the aisle will bring a tear to a grown man’s eye. Now let’s add in details to die for at Edgewood Valley Country Club. A clear roof Blue Peak tent, a hanging chandelier of greenery and ribbon, donuts to satiate everyone’s sweet tooth, and a transformational wedding gown from day to night. But that’s not all. The best parts? Katy created her own wedding cake (and surprise groom’s cake), painted all by hand with meticulous detail. (This woman is SO talented!). The main wedding cake was a stunner, and the attention to detail in the surprise Wrigley Field groom’s cake was IN.SANE. If it seems like I can’t stop gushing about this wedding and couple, it’s because I CAN’T.
