Glamorous Chicago Wedding

Brace yourselves for the juiciest, jaw-droppingest, glamiest wedding you have ever seen. Dolly & John’s wedding was incredible from top to bottom. The custom build out started weeks in advance (basically building an entire venue on the family property!) which was the most luxurious, red carpet-esque space you can imagine. Every inch had amazing details, bursts of color, and fantastic vignettes to photograph. Besides the obvious beauty, the weekend was full of so much pure love and emotion, it was a joy to be in the presence of this couple and their closest friends and family. Each moment was an honor to photograph. Especially the end of the night, where you would think a surprise display of grand fireworks  would be the perfection conclusion for the perfect day. However, it’s not exactly what Dolly’s parents had in mind. Behind the scenes, there was a secret so big, it was rather impressive it was kept a secret! Dolly & John’s favorite band (and one of my personal teenage favorites) Collective Soul, were on stage when the fireworks ended, and the shock and excitement on Dolly’s face was palpable. What a fun day to be part of. Kudos to a dream team of vendors for pulling off such an accomplishment!
