Oh these two! I have been dying to photograph their engagement session since I first did a super fun couple’s session with them a few years ago with balloons full of paint, sans engagement ring. The coolest thing is that before Mo even proposed to Ashley, she hired me for their wedding (yes, you read that right! I came BEFORE the YES!) So to say I felt special is quite an understatement. For their engagement session, the sweet pair opted for a more casual “date night” with drinks at one of their favorite hangouts, Pub 222, in the heart of downtown St Charles. Afterwards, we strolled through the beautiful Pottawattamie Park and got some stellar images (some even shot with ultra cool expired film!) The results are beautiful, of course!

There is not one single image that I would not frame - she captured all the important moments, the big ones, the small ones, the ones I would not have even thought of but now am so glad they were captured! Most importantly, she captured our emotion and happiness.
